(BEDFORD) - The Knights of Columbus Council 1166 is preparing for its 40th annual Tootsie Roll Drive which will take place next Friday and Saturday.
Since its beginning in 1978, the drive has raised more than $316,000 for local citizens with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The council received a $4,875 donation from the Lawrence County Community Foundation and a $500 donation from Bedford Federal Savings Bank.
