Greene County Inmate Sneaks Meth Into Jail; Shares It With Other Inmates

(BLOOMFIELD) - A female inmate at the Greene County Jail is facing additional charges after she allegedly brought meth into the jail.

According to police, 41-year-old Shelly Wilkinson of Bloomfield allegedly brought meth into the jail on August 23.

Police say that during an internal investigation that another inmate informed jail officials that Wilkinson was sharing the meth with inmates in her cell.

Camera footage from the facility showed Wilkinson and three other inmates ingesting the meth.

Wilkinson was in jail on a Level 5 felony charge of possession of meth and a Class C misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.
