(FRENCH LICK) - French Lick Wine and Spirits is hosting its first Job Fair on Wednesday, September 13th from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. With their expanding line of products and the addition of the distillery, there is a need to expand their staff to accommodate the surge in business.
Participants will have the opportunity to meet with the employers and discuss potential job opportunities. On the spot interviews will take place as time permits; others will be scheduled.
"We've grown so much since we first started and now we are growing again. As a family-owned business, we value our employees and we appreciate and recognize their contributions to the success of the business," French Wine and Spirits Owner Kim Doty said.
Some valuable tips for people looking to be hired: Dress for success, bring a resume and references or be prepared to complete an application on-site, be prepared for an on-site interview, come with a positive attitude, and make arrangements for child care before attending the job fair.
All successful applicants will be required to pass a drug screening. Any positions that work with the serving or sales of alcohol will require the ability to get an alcohol server's permit (a process which the winery will assist to complete).
