Free Workshop At Spring Mill On Invasive Plants

(MITCHELL) - A free workshop on invasive plants will be held at Spring Mill State Park on Saturday, September 30th from 9:00- 11:30 am.

Entrance to Spring Mill is free that day, so come out and learn about invasive plants in the morning, and then spend the rest of the day enjoying Spring Mill.

Meet at the Lakeview Nature Center at 9: a.m. for the workshop sponsored by the new Lawrence County Invasive Plant group. The group is working on promoting awareness, identification, control and prevention of invasive plants. The workshop will include a presentation on some of the most common invasive plants, how to treat them, and what their impacts are.
