(BEDFORD) - Brian Skillman has been named Lawrence County Human Resource Director.
"We have been looking to hire someone for a while for this position," says Lawrence County Commissioner President Gene McCracken. "Brian will give us consistency across the board."
Skillman was born and raised in Lawrence County.
He is a graduate of Bedford North Lawrence High School and earned a Bachelors in Education from Indiana University and a Masters in Human Resources Management from Keller Graduate School.
"I have more than 8 years of experience in human resources, supervision and operations management," he added.
He has previously worked in the Seymour and Columbus area as a human resource director for the auto industry and for the State of Indiana and form MS companies out of Indianapolis.
Skillman's office will be located in Room 20 on the main level of the Lawrence County Courthouse.
