Two Injured In Motorcycle Accident On State Road 158 West

(BEDFORD) - Two people were injured in a motorcycle accident on State Road 158 West on Saturday.

According to a Lawrence County police report, 67-year-old James Fleener was driving a 2007 Honda VT1100 west on State Road 158 near Tripleton Pike Road. When he entered a curve and the rear end of the motorcycle lost traction causing him to loose control of the bike and strike a utility pole.

Fleener and his passenger, 57-year-old Terri Sisson of Indianapolis, were thrown from the motorcycle. Neither were wearing a helmet during the incident.

Both suffered face and head injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
