(MITCHELL) - Spring Mill State Park will host Heritage Days in the Pioneer Village this weekend.

On Saturday and Sunday, guests can witness re-enactors go about their daily chores of quilting, spinning, weaving and blacksmithing.

Guests can learn about village life by participating in hands-on programs. Schedules of programs will be available at the park office as well as the Grist Mill.

The annual Quilt Show will take place from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday in the village.

Quilters working on a project are welcome to bring it to the village and demonstrate their art.

To display a quilt, contact Coletta Prewitt (812) 849-3534 or springmillstatepark@dnr.in.gov.
