Senior Trooper Steve Jordan Promoted To Corporal

(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter has announced the promotion of Senior Trooper Steve Jordan to the rank of Corporal.

Corporal Jordan will serve as the District Duty Officer, overseeing various line command and administrative duties at the Bloomington Post.

Corporal Jordan will also oversee the functional supervision of Bloomington District operations and delegate assignments to troopers working in the field.

Originally from Fort Wayne, Corporal Jordan is a 2000 graduate of Fort Wayne Elmhurst High School. Serving in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years, Jordan was deployed to Iraq in 2003 and 2005.

Corporal Jordan was a member of the 67th Indiana State Police Recruit Academy and in 2007 was appointed as a Trooper and assigned to the Putnamville District where he primarily patrolled Morgan County.
