(BEDFORD) - Scott Smith was elected to the Board of Trustee’s for Indian Creek Township during a Lawrence County Republican Party caucus on Tuesday evening.
Smith replaces Richard Kendall, who passed away recently.
Smith will serve the remaining year and five months of the current term. Smith was elected on the first ballot at caucus. He is lifelong resident of the township.
All trustee offices will be on the ballot again in 2018.
