Last updated on Thursday, August 3, 2017

(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell woman was arrested after police caught her selling meth.

The Lawrence County Drug Task Force arrested 22-year-old Charity Fullen on Thursday on two counts of dealing meth, three counts of possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance and unlawful possession of a legend drug.

They also arrested 20-year-old Taylor Allgood of Bloomington after they saw him purchase 3.79 grams of meth from Fullen.

Allgood is facing charges of possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

The Task Force was tipped off about the possible drug deal by a confidential informant. The informant had purchased an "eight ball" of meth from Fuller. After two separate visits to Fullen, the informant turned over the meth to law enforcement officers.

Officers then went to Fuller's apartment in Persimmon Park and searched it, finding a bag with a crystal meth, other small bags, $226 in cash, money used by the confidential informant and digital scales.

While waiting for the informant at Fullen's apartment, police noticed a red truck parked at the residence. Allgood was in the truck.

Police found Allgood had purchased 3.79 grams of meth from Fullen. Officers found the meth in the truck's fuse box. They also found marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
