(JASPER) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public hearing Wednesday on the proposed State Road 162 bridge rehabilitation project over the Straight River in Dubois County.
The purpose of the public hearing is to offer all interested persons the chance to comment on the draft environmental document and preliminary design plans for the proposed project.
The hearing will be held in the Jasper Public Library Annex starting at 5:30 p.m..
The State Road 162 Pony Truss Bridge is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
