I-69 Section 5 Confirms Road Closure On Tapp Road West Of State Road 37

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana Department of Transportation is confirming the closure of Tapp Road west of State Road 37 to construct roadway and interchange improvements.
- Tapp Road will be closed west of SR 37 from the intersection with SR 37 to Danlyn Lane.
- Access will be restricted at the intersection of Tapp and Leonard Springs roads to local traffic only.
- The traffic signal at the intersection of Leonard Springs and Tapp roads will be removed. Local Tapp Road traffic will be required to stop at the intersection while Leonard Springs Road traffic will be unimpeded.
- Traffic accessing west Tapp Road from SR 37 will be detoured to the SR 45/Second Street interchange, west to Leonard Springs Road, and then south to Tapp Road.
- Conversely, traffic from Tapp Road seeking access to SR 37 and Tapp Road east of SR 37 will be detoured north on Leonard Springs Road to SR 45.
- Access to west Fullerton Pike from SR 37 will remain closed.
- West Fullerton Pike access from Leonard Springs Road will continue to be restricted to local traffic only.
Tapp Road west of SR 37 will remain closed through May 2018.
