(JASPER) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a public hearing on Wednesday, August 23rd on the proposed rehabilitation of the Pony Truss Bridge on State Road 162 over the Straight River in Dubois County.
The bridge is eligible for the National Register of Historic Places.
The purpose of the public hearing is to offer all interested persons the chance to comment on the draft environmental document and preliminary design plans for the proposed project.
The hearing will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Jasper Public Library Annex.
