(BEDFORD) - A free pool party to honor active duty military, National Guard reserves, veterans, city and police and firefighters and their families will be held Friday, Sept. 1 at John Lowery Municipal Pool.
The event will start at 6:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m.
The event will honor and thank those who dedicate their life to service and the sacrifices they make daily.
The event is sponsored by Dr. Jim Sowders and Dr. Andrea Rope, the Bedford Parks Department and Hoosier Hills Armed Forces Families Association.
Tickets are free, but must be picked up at the Bedford Parks Dept. or Dr. Sowders' office.
