(DAVIESS CO.) - The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office will take part in the National Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over Campaign which runs from Mid-August through the Labor Day weekend.
The sheriff's office will join with about 220 law enforcement agencies across Indiana and thousands across the country in cracking down on impaired drivers.
Motorists can expect to see more sobriety checkpoints during that period.
Overtime patrols are supported with federal highway funds administered by the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute.
