(BEDFORD) - Bedford Police Department has three new police officers.
Officer Ross Johns, Officer Blake Wade, and Officer Clint Swanson were sworn in by Mayor Shawna Girgis Monday afternoon during the Bedford Board Of Works meeting.
During the meeting the board approved the promotions of Officer Morgan Lee from patrolman to sergeant and accepted the retirement of Mike Johnson, who is to become the new police chief for the City of Mitchell.
