Bedford Man Suffers Lacerations And Broken Foot After Crashing Motorcycle

(MITCHELL) - A Bedford man was injured after he crashed his motorcycle on Stumphole Bridge Road on Monday night.

The accident was reported at 7:17 p.m.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 31-year-old Aaron Speelman was traveling north on Stumphole Bridge Road and was approaching a curve when he hit the brakes on his 2007 Honda VT750. The motorcycle began sliding on the wet roadway and traveled 100 feet. Speelman, who was wearing a helmet was ejected from the bike.

Speelman suffered a broken left foot, a laceration to his right hand and his backside right hip. He was transported by an AMR ambulance to IU Bedford Health Hospital for treatment.
