Adopt Cat Or Kitten At White River Humane Society

Last updated on Thursday, August 17, 2017

(BEDFORD) - There is only two days left to receive a great deal on adopting a cat or kitten from the White River Humane Society.

The White River Humane Society has an abundance of cats and kittens and need to find them homes.

"Our shelter is running over with cats and we want to save them all, but it's not possible unless we find homes for them," says Board President Buddy Hendricks wrote in a press release. "Lots of homes! We have beautiful cats who don't deserve to be sheltered in crowded conditions. The shelter is at a number of cats that is
barely manageable. Overcrowding is also a health risk to the cats."

They are running an adoption special until Saturday. You can adopt an adult feline friend for $5 and up to two kittens for $75.

"We will make sure that every cat is spay/neutered, up to date on shots, dewormed and tested for Felv & FIV," he added. "We care about these unfortunate, blameless animals and we want the best for them, we know you do too. Help us, help them. They are precious little heartbeats at our feet and they deserve life. Come to the shelter before our offer expires. We are certain there is a purr-fect cat that is waiting for you."

They are also in need of cat food and non-clumping kitty litter.

The shelter is open daily from Noon until 5 p.m.
