(BEDFORD) - Family members of Bobby Tipton are sponsoring the 7th Annual Bobby’s Ride on Saturday, August 5th.
Bobby Tipton passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2010. Since Bobby's passing, his family has sponsored Bobby's Ride as an annual ride to assist a Lawrence County resident in his memory.
This year's proceeds will help Lilli Brown, Bobby's great niece, who has is diagnosed with congenital heart defects and had open heart surgery. More surgeries are in Lilli's future. All proceeds collected will be donated to the Heart Center and CVICV at Riley Hospital.
The ride will begin and end at Wilson Park Shelter House, registration starts at 11 a.m., kickstands up at noon. A requested donation for the ride is $20 for single riders and $25 doubles.
A home cooked meal will be served after the ride, if you are unable to ride and would like to attend the dinner and raffles, a requested donation is $5.
