(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Recreation Foundation will present the 2017 Claude Akins Memorial Golf Classic Sept. 2-3 at Otis Park.

The six-person scramble offers more than $30,000 awarded in a multitude of team, individual and weekend prizes.

Morning rounds get under way at 7:15 a.m. and afternoon rounds start at 1:15 p.m. both days. Organizer Joey Elliott says slots will fill up fast. The cost is $65 per golfer. Registration ends August 18th.
