(BLOOMINGTON) - A car collision on Sunday evening resulted a porch collapsing and sending one person to the hospital.
Around 7 p.m. police say two cars collided at the intersection of East Cottage Grove Avenue and Indiana Avenue causing one of the cars to strike a house.
The collision caused the porch to collapse.
Firefighters with the Bloomington Fire Department were called to the scene and were able to shore up the porch for stability. Firefighters were on the scene for about 30 minutes.
Police say one person was injured and transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
