Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum To Host Fire At Night Iron Pour

Last updated on Wednesday, July 19, 2017

(SOLSBERRY) - Sculpture Trails Outdoor Museum in Solsberry will host their annual event, “Fire at Night Iron Pour,” July 29.

The unique outdoor museum is the largest of its kind and located at 6764 North Tree Farm Road in Solsberry.

From 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, scratch blocks may be purchased at Sculpture Trails, for a $20 donation.

Purchasers are welcome to work on their blocks during the week and bring them back July 29, or a scratch block may be purchased the same day of the pour. In addition, medium and large scratch blocks will be available for larger donations.

A scratch block is a sand-filled block to be scraped or carved out, becoming a mold to shape your design. The deeper a block is carved, the more the design will stick out when it is casted.
