(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell woman was arrested after found driving on a flat tire.
Lawrence County Police arrested 50-year-old Andrea Rose on charges of resisting arrest by vehicle, operating a vehicle while intoxicated, unlawful possession of a syringe and cited for driving left of center and speed.
According to Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, officers were called to Pride Estates after a report of an intoxicated woman knocking on doors.
"While officers were en-route to the scene they learned the female was leaving in a gray Toyota SUV with a flat tire," Chief Deputy Shoults added.
At 7:13 p.m. an officer located the vehicle and attempted to stop it and the vehicle fled on Vinegar Hill Road, eventually stopping near the entrance to Rockwood East Addition and Rose was arrested and transported to a local hospital for a blood draw and then to jail.
