Pekin Man Arrested On Drug Charges

(PEKIN) - Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies were called to a home on State Road 335 after a report of a domestic disturbance on Wednesday.

That call resulted in the arrest of 47-year-old Jeffrey Standiford of Pekin.

Sandiford was booked into the Washington County Detention Center on charges of maintaining a common nuisance, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a syringe.

Deputy Brad Naugle is the investigating officer. Sheriff Roger Newlon and deputies Brent Miller and Joseph Keltner also assisted with the investigation.
