(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was injured Sunday afternoon after he crashed his motorcycle early Sunday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 20-year-old Morgan Wray was traveling south on Clark Smith Road on his 2016 Yamaha YZF during a rain storm around 1:44 a.m. when he hit a small tree laying across the roadway.
Wray told police he was unable to stop before hitting the tree.
Wray was thrown from the motorcycle and landed near the side of the road.
Police say Wray was wearing a helmet. Wray complained of elbow and lower arm pain.
