Detectives obtained a copy of the video, which shows Brittany smoking what appears to be meth from a glass meth pipe, Hayes said. James also appears in the video and the voice of her 9-year-old son can be heard talking to James.

During a search of the apartment Friday, police found small amounts meth and marijuana and drug paraphernalia including smoking pipes.

Brittany told police she had a drug addiction and that an ex-boyfriend has posted the video a few months ago after the two had a fight.

Three children, ages 9, 10, and 13 were removed from the apartment by Jackson County Child Protective Services.

Both Brittany Stafford and James Stafford were arrested and charged with maintaining a common nuisance and neglect of a dependent. Brittany Stafford is also facing a charge of possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Both are being held without bond at the Jackson County Jail.
