(BEDFORD) - Since 2009, Lowe’s Charitable & Educational Foundation has partnered with Boys & Girls Clubs of America to provide building and refurbishment grants to local Boys & Girls Clubs in numerous markets.
Lowe's Heroes employee volunteers support local community projects with local Clubs. At many locations, Lowe's Heroes get involved by volunteering their time and talent to help Clubs complete their projects efficiently and safely.
During Back 2 School season, Lowe's will expand its partnership by kicking off the Lowe's and BGCA-Building Great Futures in-store cause campaign. From August 8 - September 5, Lowe's stores will support Boys & Girls Club by asking their customers to donate to Boys & Girls Clubs during the checkout process at the register. Fifty percent of all funds raised by the Bedford Lowes will be distributed back to the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County. If less than $100 is raised the funds will be used to support a national Boys & Girls Club of America initiative.
