Dalton Workman 2017 Round Robin Champion At Greene County 4-H Fair

(BLOOMFIELD) - Dalton Workman, an eight-year 4-H member, was named the 2017 Round Robin Champion at the Greene County 4-H Fair.

Workman, 16, of Solsberry, is a junior at Eastern Greene High School. He is the son of Danny and Renee Workman. He was representing swine.

Grant Sipes earned second place during the Round Robin Contest. He was representing the horse and pony species.

Blake Burch earned third place, representing dairy goats.

Hayden Feltner earned fourth place, representing sheep.

Turner Royal came in fifth place, representing meat goats.

Luke Lannan came in sixth place, representing the beef category.

Sabrina Stockrahm of the Greene County News reports, the annual Round Robin contest is comprised of the top showman in six species: Horses, pigs, sheep, beef, meat goat and dairy goat. The top showman of each species shows each of the six species, even if they have never shown them before. Furthermore, the animals shown are not the ones the 4-H'ers spend the whole year working with.
