(BEDFORD) - Autumn Ray will fill the District 5 board vacancy on the North Lawrence school board.
Current members chose Ray with a unanimous vote Thursday night.
Two others running for the position were Jon Jeffries and Tyler Lewis.
Ray will fill the seat left by Donnie Branham who resigned in June for personal reasons.
Officials say Ray will be sworn at an upcoming school board meeting on August 10th.
