(BROWN CO.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will close Yellowwood Road in Brown County on Monday between State Road 46 and Yellowwood Lake Road as part of the $4.5 million road and bridge project through Yellowwood State Forest west of Nashville.
A signed detour is in place.
During the 120-day closure, a 3-span 300-foot bridge will be built over Salt Creek and Yellowwood Road realigned.
Existing structures at Salt Creek will be removed.
