(BEDFORD) - Two women were injured after their vehicle’s collided on Sparksville Road Tuesday, May 30th.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 40-year-old Stacy Goen pf Bedford complained of neck pain and 37-year-old Amanda Starr of Medora complained of pain to her lower arm.
According to police, 34-year-old Christina Tomey of Medora was pulling onto Sparksville Road, preparing to turn left onto Leesville Road in her 2005 Chevrolet Cavalier. Starr was her passenger.
Tomey told police she couldn't see well due to tall grass and weeds on the side of the road and pulled out, and struck a 2006 Cadillac CTS, driven by Goen, who was traveling north on Leesville Road.
Police did request the Lawrence County Highway Department to mow the tall grass at the intersection.
