(BLOOMINGTON) - Two men were arrested in connection to the June 16th armed robbery at a Bloomington Burger King.

U.S. Marshals helped the Bloomington Police Department Critical Incident Response Team arrest 36-year-old Micah "Red" Wallace Sr., Friday morning at an apartment in the 3100 block of South Acadia Court.

On Tuesday, Bloomington Police detectives arrested 41-year-old Foster Futrell, who admitted to being the getaway driver. He was arrested at his apartment in the 3100 block of South Walnut Street. Evidence was collected from his residence and he was taken into custody.

The robbery happened at 11:23 a.m. on June 16th at the Burger King at 3750 West Third Street. None of the employees were injured during the incident. Police say a Futrell armed with a black semi-automatic handgun entered the restaurant and demanded money from the register and an office safe. Once he got the cash, he exited the restaurant and ran northwest toward a nearby strip mall and got into a vehicle driven by Wallace.

Both men are charged with armed robbery.

The case remains under investigation.
