Driver Injured After Semi Overturns

(GREENE CO.) - A semi overturned on Lone Tree Road on Wednesday morning in Greene County, injuring the driver.

According to a Greene County Sheriff's Department press release the accident happened near the intersection of County Road 1000 West (Lone Tree Road) and County Road 295 North at 7:34 a.m.

27-year-old Steven J. Knepp of Loogootee was operating a white International flat bed truck heading northbound on Lone Tree when the passenger side tires went off the side of the roadway on the east side.

Police say the vehicle went into the ditch, then when he pulled the vehicle out of the ditch he crossed the road and slid into the ditch on the west side of Lone Tree.

Knepp suffered a nose bleed and was taken by a coworker to Daviess County Hospital for treatment.

Assisting at the scene Greene County Ambulance Service, Linton Fire Department and AAA Towing.
