Public Invited To Amateur Radio Relay League Field Day Saturday & Sunday

(BRETZVILLE) - Dubois County Emergency Management Amateur Radio Operators will be taking part in the Amateur Radio Relay League Field Day event which runs from 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24th to 2 p.m. Sunday, June 25th.

It's a nationwide exercise that tests the Amateur Radio Operator's equipment and their ability to operate under adverse conditions such as those that may occur during a disaster.

The exercise involves amateur radio operators throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The Dubois County group will set up their radio equipment and operating from shelter house #4 at the Dubois County Park, located behind the 4-H Fairgrounds one mile north of Bretzville on Highway 162.

The public is invited to attend.
