(BEDFORD) - Bedford Revitalization, Inc. (BRI) Design Committee has made available the first in a series of solid pewter ornaments - The Milwaukee Depot Commemorative Medallion.
The medallion celebrates the recent relocation, restoration and reopening of the 1899 former headquarters of the Southern Indiana Railroad at its new home at the corner of 14th & J streets.
The medallion sells for $20 and was made in Indiana.
All proceeds will be used in the Design Committee's efforts in renewing the look and feel of the downtown through collaborative efforts with the City and downtown merchants.
BRI is the local Indiana Main Street organization for our community. The medallions are currently available at the Bedford Chamber of Commerce and will eventually be available at the Downtown Depot.
