Nine To Compete In Miss Greene County Pageant

(BLOOMFIELD) - Nine young ladies will complete for the title of Miss Greene County on Saturday.

Reigning queen Alexis Graves will crown the new queen at the Community Event Center in Bloomfield.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the pageant beginning at 7 p.m.

Twelve young ladies will be competing for the title of Miss Greene County Princess this year.

Rylee Ellett

Rylee, 18, is the daughter of Michaela Ellett of Lyons. She is a 2017 graduate of White River Valley High School and will attend Ball State University to major in speech and language pathology. She is a 10 year 4-H member, president and founder of Champions Together at White River Valley. She has earned four varsity letters in track, cheerleading and volleyball and served more than 10 hours of community service each year. She is a member of American Legion Post 106. She has participated in Fang Gang, Riley Dance Marathon and Fellowship of Christian Athletes.

Abigail Fletcher

Abigail, 19, is the daughter of Brian Fletcher and Elizabeth Williams of Worthington. She is a 2016 graduate of White River Valley High School and is currently a sophomore at USI, where she is majoring in nursing with a minor in psychology. She plans to extend her degree as a physician's assistant. She works at Bloomington Hospital and Jiffy Treet in Linton. Abigail noted she enjoys spending time with her family, fiancé and her dog, Jude.

Sidnee Johnson

Sidnee, 18, is the daughter of Scott and Tanya Johnson of Bloomfield. She is a 2017 graduate of Eastern Greene High School and plans to major in nursing at University of Southern Indiana. Sidnee has been involved with Eastern Greene FFA, Greene County Beef Club, Lifeline Christian Missions, One-80 Student Ministry, cheerleading, track and field, Students Against Destructive Decisions and served as a student athletic trainer.

Shannon Pittman

Shannon, 18, is the daughter of Gale and Jeannette Pittman of Lyons. She is a 2016 graduate of White River Valley High School. She is a sophomore at Earlham College where she is majoring in biology with a minor in psychology. She participates in volleyball and basketball at Earlham, has participated in the Barn Co-Op, is a member of FCA, has volunteered at the local 4-H activities and the police station and has "adopted a child" from Children in Need.

Samantha Rose

Samantha, 18, is the daughter of Rodney and Sharon Rose of Jasonville. She is a 2017 graduate of Shakamak High School and plans on obtaining a degree in agriculture education and communications. She has been involved with 4-H and FFA. Her hobbies include hunting, fishing and hanging out with friends.

Harlee Sullivan

Harlee, 18, is the daughter of Randy and Kim Sullivan, and Monica Revalorio of Newberry. She is a 2017 graduate of Bloomfield High School and will attend Purdue University to major in agricultural education. She has been involved in 4-H, FFA, Student Council, BETA Club, volleyball, Junior Leaders, Spanish Club and the Mt. Zion Wesleyan Church.

Skylar Tucker

Skylar, 18, is the daughter of Edward and Crystal Tucker of Linton. She is a senior at Linton-Stockton High School. She plans to obtain a degree in biology and attending medical school, where she will study dermatology and minor in primate conservation. She has been involved with USA Track and Field, Special Olympics, National Honor Society, Student Council, Academic Honors Club, track and field, volleyball, cheerleading, gymnastics, Relay for Life, color runs, the humane society, various ALS and cancer benefits and vet clinics.

Allison Wininger

Allison, 20, is the daughter of Buck and Lynn Winninger of Bloomfield. She is a 2015 graduate of White River Valley High School and currently a junior at Indiana University where she is majoring in exercise science with minors in chemistry, criminal justice and pre-med. She has been involved as a women's basketball manager, a women's rowing manager and member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Leadership team.
