(BEDFORD) - A Mitchell man was injured after his motorcycle was struck on State Road 37 on Saturday morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 76-year-old Edward Kedzierski of Mitchell was crossing State Road 37 from The Woods Addition when he pulled his 1996 Ford F-150 into the path of a northbound 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 42-year-old Steven Fox.
Fox told police he attempted to avoid the collision by slowing down but was unable to and collided with the pickup.
Fox was partially ejected from the motorcycle and suffered road rash and complained of hip pain. He was taken by an IU Health Hospital ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
