(BEDFORD) - A Morgantown woman was arrested Sunday morning after Lawrence County Police received a report of an erratic driver near State Road 446 and US 50 East.

Police received the report at 12:30 a.m. and responded to the area.

They spotted the white Jetta traveling west on US 50 East. Police says the driver was weaving and driving left of the center line.

Police stopped the vehicle and arrested 39-year-old Marisa Payton on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated per se and OWI.

During an inventory of the vehicle police found two baggies containing marijuana and two glass smoking devices which tested positive for meth and 15 alprazolam pills.

She was then charged with possession of marijuana and meth, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a common nuisance.

Payton was booked into the Lawrence County jail and posted a $755 Sunday.
