Man Wanted For Murder In Louisville Arrested In Salem

(SALEM) - Police arrested a man wanted for murder after finding him at a home in Salem.

According to Washington County Sheriff Roger Newlon, police received a tip that Darryl Lavon Hall was at a home at 10439 E. Saylor Road.

Sheriff Newlon says Hall is wanted on a warrant for murder, armed robbery, robbery and resisting law enforcement out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Officers with the Indiana State Police, Indiana Conservation Department, New Pekin Police Department and the U.S. Marshall's Office were contacted to assist the Sheriff's Department with the warrant service.

Hall was arrested without incident, Thursday afternoon. He was transported to the Washington County Detention Center, awaiting extradition.
