Man Arrested After Found Intoxicated In Alley

(BEDFORD) - A Bloomington man was arrested after police received a 911 call about an intoxicated man at the Mark III Motel on Wednesday.

When Bedford Police officers arrived at they found 55-year-old Kevin Blackwell falling down in the alley behind the motel.

"He showed all the signs of being intoxicated," says Chief Dennis Parsley. "His level of intoxication was so high he was taken to IU Health to be medically cleared."

While at the hospital Blackwell began yelling and using profanity and refused to stop.

Once being medically cleared, he was arrested on charges of public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
