Linton Teen Facing Charges After Helping Boyfriend Assault Former Manager

(LINTON) - A Linton teenager is facing charges after she allegedly helping her boyfriend assault her former manager.

According to a Greene County Circuit Court probable cause affidavit, police arrested 19-year-old Kira Hall after they say she helped her 21-year-old boyfriend, Robert Hauck, break into the Linton Family Restaurant during the early morning hours of May 29 where he battered her former employer.

Hall was arrested on a warrant charging her with residential entry, a Level 6 felony, and battery resulting in bodily injury. Her bond was set at $5,000. As of Tuesday, no initial hearing had been scheduled.

Hall police police she drove Hauck to the area of J7s Sports Grille once there another male, who Hall says she doesn't know, got into the truck with Hall and Hauck

Hall told police Hauck was very intoxicated and mad because she had been fired by the manager.

Hall says Hauck instructed her to drive to the restaurant. Hall told police she drove to Lakeside Body shop, a business located adjacent to the Linton Family Restaurant, where Hauck and the unknown male got out of the truck. Hall says she then drove around the area until Hauck called her and she returned and picked the two up.

Hauck broke into the Linton Family Restaurant using Hall's key to the business.

A man was lying on a couch in the office area. Hauck repeatedly struck the man in the face. The victim began defending himself and grabbed Hauck's leg and that is when the unknown male pulled Hauck free and they fled the building.

Police say the victim suffered a large amount of redness and swelling and above and around his right eye. He was also bleeding from his mouth and there were blood stains on his clothing and on the floor.

Hauck was arrested and is facing charges of residential break and entry, a Level 6 felony and battery resulting in bodily injury, a Class A misdemeanor.
