(BEDFORD) - Shawswick Township has received $3,000 from Hoosier Upland's Community Development and Improvement Program.

To qualify the resident must be 65 or older and meet income guidelines.

"The money can be used to repair their home, water heater, plumbing, window, heating systems or many other projects that need to be fixed, but the residents don't have the funds to make the repairs," Jones added.'

To apply call the Shawswick Township Trustee's office at (812) 275-2511 to set up an appointment.
