(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was injured in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of John Williams Boulevard and Beech Street on Tuesday afternoon.

According to a Bedford Police report, 71-year-old Janet Jackson of Bedford was traveling east on John Williams Boulevard in the right lane and was approaching the intersection of Beech Street.

At the same time, 72-year-old David Armstrong of Bedford was traveling westbound on John Williams Boulevard and had stopped in the left turn lane to make a left turn from John Williams Boulevard onto Beech Street.

Both Jackson and a witness at the scene told police Armstrong turned in front of Jackson's 2015 Kia Sportage.
