(BEDFORD) - Two Bedford residents were injured in a two-vehicle crash at 15th and L streets on Saturday.
According to a Bedford Police report, 24-year-old Codie Kidd of Bedford complained of lower back pain and was taken to a hospital by ambulance.
24-year-old Shayna M. Kerr of Bedford suffered an abrasion on her left lower leg and was treated at the scene.
According to police the accident was reported at 5:24 p.m.
Police say Kerr was traveling west in her 2015 Toyota Camry on 15th Street and approaching the L Street intersection. She told police she was looking at a kitten in her vehicle and failed to stop for the red light, driving through the intersection colliding with Kidd's 1990 Buick Century.
