Orange County Woman Arrested After Selling Drugs To Undercover Officer

Last updated on Monday, May 1, 2017

(MARTIN CO.) - An undercover drug operation conducted by the Martin County Sheriff’s Department led to the arrest of an Orange County woman on Wednesday afternoon.

Authorities say 22-year-old Krystal Holt attempted to sell methamphetamine to Chief Deputy Josh Greene, who was in plain clothes posing as a drug user, at a residence in Loogootee.

Holt gave Greene cash for the intended delivery of drugs.

However, Greene called off the delivery portion of the undercover operation out of concern for the safety of Holt's child who had accompanied her.

Holt is facing preliminary charges of dealing in a controlled substance; attempted dealing in a controlled substance, neglect of a dependent and false informing.
