(BEDFORD) - The North Lawrence School system received several donations this month.
Richard Burton - Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Sinclair Community College donated a RAM Hemi engine, eight Chrysler transmissions and various vehicle wiring harnesses that will assist the instructors in the Automotive Technology classes.
Hoosier Hills Credit Union donated $500 to Joint Services for the purchase of a wheelchair swing. The swing will be placed at the Parkview Primary/Parkview Intermediate playground.
Hoosier Uplands is donating $40,000 to the Career Center to purchase equipment for the Machine Trades classes.
St. Vincent Dunn has committed to assist Lincoln Elementary for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 school years by contributing tubs to store food, staff time to assemble weekend food bags and conducting food drives specifically for Lincoln Elementary School weekend feeding program.
