Nine Arrested For Dealing Meth

(JASONVILLE) - Nine individuals were arrested on Thursday following a near two month investigation for dealing meth.

According to a press release from Jasonville Police Chief Jim Gadberry, this is the second investigation focused on the sale and use of meth in five months.

Those arrested include:

  • Fred Stewart, 40, of Linton, facing a charge of Level 4 felony dealing meth
  • Mallory Frye, 28, of Linton, facing a charge of Level 6 felony maintaining a common nuisance
  • Donald Bickel, 55, of Jasonville, facing a charge of Level 5 felony dealing meth
  • Wayne Smith, 59, of Jasonville, facing a charge of Level 5 felony possession of meth
  • Dustin Saude, 35, of Jasonville, facing a charge of Level 4 felony dealing meth
  • Travis Johnson, 35, of Jasonville, facing a charge of Level 4 felony dealing meth
  • Carole Pearson, 44, of Linton, facing a charge of Level 6 felony possession of meth
  • Douglas Duncan, 37, of Linton, facing charges of Level 4 felony dealing meth and Level 5 felony dealing meth
  • Stephen Boger, 66, of Linton, facing charges of Level 4 felony dealing meth and three counts Level 5 felony dealing meth

The investigation was a collaborative effort between the Jasonville Police Department, Greene County Prosecutor's Office, Indiana State Police, Greene County Sheriff's Department, Linton Police Department, Worthington Police Department and U.S. Marshall Service, according to the press release.

According to probable causes, investigations began in various dates of March and utilized confidential informants, along with audio and visual surveillance. Controlled purchases were performed with CIs and all purchased methamphetamine was taken into evidence.

The probable cause for says, both Frye and Stewart were saw handling the meth for controlled purchases. It was later discovered Stewart was hiding out in another county, while Frye maintained the residence they had been dealing the meth in.

Pearson was found to have meth on her person after a traffic stop. Pearson reportedly stated she was using the meth found in her purse to lose weight.

Gadberry added that a firearm was found with Smith and charges will be filed accordingly.

The press release also states warrants have been filed for 43-year-old Cory Terrel and 30-year-old Stacey Whitlow, both of Jasonville.
