(MITCHELL) - A 14-year-old Mitchell Junior High School student was arrested Friday morning after police say he attempted to set a bathroom on fire.
The teen is facing a charge of arson. Police have not released the identity of the male teen.
At 10:45 a.m., Friday, Lawrence County Sheriff's Department received a call about the incident and dispatched a Mitchell Police officer to the scene.
The teen had taken some toilet paper, put it on the floor and set it on fire.
School officials say the teen has been disciplined.
