Martin County Sheriff's Office Investigation Leads To Multiple Arrests For Dealing Meth

(MARTIN CO.) - Last Thursday was the beginning of a two day counter-narcotics operation that led to the arrests of four Martin County residents.

With the assistance of the Loogootee Police Department and the Indiana State Police, surveillance was conducted during a series of controlled buys of methamphetamine.

As a result of the investigation, Martin County Prosecutor Mike Steiner requested, and by Judge Lynne Ellis of the Martin County Circuit Court, was granted two search warrants.

The warrants were executed, simultaneously, in Loogootee and Dover Hill, by the Sheriff's Office. As a result of the searches, meth and other evidence was collected to further substantiate the probable cause for their arrests.
