Helen Merchant Winner Of Capture The Forest Photo Contest

(UNDATED) - The Hoosier National Forest is pleased to announce that Helen Merchant, of Bedford, is the most recent winner of the Capture the Forest Photo Contest.

The next round for the photo contest will take place this summer and fall season. Entries will be accepted beginning June 1st and must be submitted by November 1st . There are several ways to submit your photos. You can share your best pictures with the hashtag #capturetheforest or you can email the photos to Danielle Rexroat at daniellejrexroat@fs.fed.us."

Photographers of all experience levels are encouraged to compete. So grab your camera or smart phone and visit the Hoosier National Forest- where everyone is a winner when you get outdoors. Any photo submitted must be taken on the Hoosier National Forest and represent nature and/or outdoor recreation. The most important rule is to have fun!

Selected photos may be shared on social media, posted on our website, used in publications, or displayed at the Hoosier National Forest offices. Please ensure you have permission to photograph people, and that anyone who is recognizable is aware that you are submitting the picture.
